Most of the music on my iPod is downloaded from normal CDs - Apple have far too much money and are far too money grabbing for me to give them any more!

Friday, my hubby was helping his eldest move house - I sorted the dogs out, dusted, polished and did the washing and ironing.

I had Kerrang on TV whilst I was doing all this.

I can't even use an iPod. Daughter has one and eldest daughter wanted to borrow it when she went to dentist. I brought it along but neither of us could figure it out, luckily the dentist did.

Daughter has Ipad and I leave that to her. I have her Ipod but at the moment I have my favourite artists and they are all on CD which are played in the car. At the moment the Ipod is in the pocket of my uniform fleece and that is probably where it will remain.

Hi try Spotify you can have it on most phones, its so big with its 11 million tracks, saves having a cd collection or buying cd's.

You can try it free for so many hours a month with adds, or subscribe with small payment without adds and improved sound, some cd's better than cd quality.

Regards David

I actually like having a CD, just ordered a new one from Amazon and got another one on pre order for next month.

Keep meaning to download the Planet Rock app to my phone so I can listen to that in the car but somehow never seem to get round to it!!

I love my CD collection! If I'm spending money I'd rather have something to show for it than just a download.

Have to admit tho we are aApple fans, iphones, ipod and hopefully soon an ipad! totally sucked in by gadgets, we used itunes at an alarming rate too! hey ho i guess you get what you pay for really!

No it connects to your tv and wifi, you can rent and buy videos on it and play your own content that's stored on your computer straight through your tv if you have wifi. You can also use it to play music through our audio system over the wifi too.
If i listened to my Mom and Dad i would not be in the mess i am in now.

Is that Apple or Sky animaleyes?

I love the CD in the car at the moment.
Apple Jan,

don't get me wrong, i admire their ability to market a product with a screen and processor change and be able to sell it to the masses as a "new innovative product" rather than a slight upgrade but I can't stand the Apple "religion" and all the way Apple locks you into their whole ethos with iTunes etc.

Not for me i'm afraid..
