Hi everyone.
Im 5 months pregnant and worried sick. Been on IVA now for 18months and fell pregnant unplanned.
My IP hasnt offered a payment break as yet - waiting for mat b1 form and to review I&E before i start mat leave. will be approx 400 down i think for 4months and IVA is 400 at the moment.
My worry is that the IVA payments were to increase next feb from 400 to approx 800 when the 2 cars HP are paid off. I will be dropping my hours from fulltime to 30 hrs losing approx 200-300 per month and childcare will swallow upto 600 per month. Ive worked out the disposable for iva would reduce from 800 to approx 300 and scared they wont accept.
I know there will need to be creditors meeting but scared they will refuse the proposal- any advice or experience would be helpful. don expect any tax credits or possibly max 40 quid.

Do you own your own property? Was wondering if bankruptcy would be better?

I think that your IP company is the best one to advise here as they have knowledge of your case.

The experts will only be able to give basic advice here.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. Have you spoken to your IP? Hopefully you can resolve this quickly and get on with enjoying everything x
