Just renewed the home insurance, went with Legal & General through a cashback site and its a few quid a month cheaper than our current home insurance, cover is identical. No problem with the monthly payment yet identified.

Car insurance needs to be sorted out for the Mrs now, its due on the 20th

I have to stay with mine as we have had made a few claims over the past couple of years. They were ok last year - let's hope it stays that way this year.

I've just changed insurer for home contents and building but stayed with LV for car insurance as they were most competitive and I do pay monthly but have done now for a couple of years. I hope I can continue to do so. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I'm hoping that when our renewal is due with them that they will allow us to pay monthly

I'm with RSA for home/buildings and car. Not had a problem so far.

I'm still fuming about this

I have contents insurance which I pay monthly - no problem
I had insurance on my car for 5 years with monthly payment - no problem

Now all of a sudden it's an issue?
If I could afford to pay £577 in a single amount I probably wouldn't be in a debt management plan in the first place. Grrrrrr
