Thanks again everyone. I have just had a call from GT. They are going to go over my I&E from January and she will call me back next week. She also said not to worry and that she is sure they can find a solution.
It has put my mind at ease a bit.
Once again. Many Thanks for all your support.

Hi. I saw your topic, so just joined up. I am fighting my employers through Tribunal, but at least am still in work, but they are hell-bent of getting rid of me. It's dragged on for nearly a year, and stressed me to the very brink, as I was worried about the prospect of losing my job/my house & failing my IVA. I've been kept going with the support from family, friends, my GP and therapist. I've kept my Case Officer up to date with everything. Please ensure you 'tell them like it is', as they are there to help you, and it's in their interests to help you find a solution. Also, as a Manager, I have employed people who have been fired/criminal records etc, and have always recruited on merit. Always be honest with prospective employers, so they can 'risk assess'appropriately. In the darkest of times, there is a solution that will ease your burden. Please continue to chip away - one step at a time. The bottom line has to be, "what's the worse that can happen?", and could you come back from it? Very best of luck
IVA journey started: 30th March 2009. Settled: 17th July 2012. Completion Certificate received: 13th March 2013. Breathe. x

Creditors in this case should complete the IVA early.Don't dither about it.

A five year iva in these cronic high unemployment times...creditors need to have a rethink!! A 3 year IVA is more realistic. They {creditors} aren't the paragon of virtues...cap in hand... they are all borrowing money from governments and from the ECB for their unbelivable screw ups and would face BRcy. However they are holding people hostage on personal debts almost on some sick proverbia slogan like - do as we say but not as we do.Perverse.

Yes, HSBC...hippocrite...you've been gorging on the loans and keeping it very quiet - whist closing peoples bank account as 'credit unworthy??'

I am tired of them all as I am with Cameron and Lansley.

There aren't ANY worthy jobs created outhere either way?

Hi DebtDebt,

This seems really weird as i was in exactly the same position as yourself a year and a half ago , i lost my job in similar circumstances and had the stress and worry of informing the my IP that i needed a Payment Break and also i had to try and find another job at the same time.I know exactly what you are going through at the moment and it seems like Hell especially with all the stress and worry.
Believe me , the IVA is not a Punishment and your IP is there to Help and Guide You and and a Payment Break or a Final Settlement of Funds paid in so far will Help you at least get things back on track and give you some breathing space like it did me.
You need to come clean about the Gross Misconduct thing during an Interview with a New Employer which was exactly what i did and they are a Big Global Company i am with now and everything should be fine as they will HONESTLY RESPECT YOU!!! for it and goes a long way.
Your life sounds like a Duplicate of mine last year but i am in a new and better job now and things couldn't be better
