Well Done !! Once the money has been paid over, your IP will tie up loose ends and issue a completion statement. Only when you have that certificate is the IVA formally closed.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Excellent news - so very pleased for you.

You will eventually get a letter once you have made your final payment and then the IVA will be completed totally. You will then need to check your credit record will all three agencies to make sure no defaults have been registered after the date of IVA acceptance, if so then you need to contact any creditors who have defaulted afterwards and tell them to remove those defaults.

Ohh, my job has also changed in my new company, which means I am earning more money than my previous job, I presume as the F&F has already been accepted there is no need to inform them of this change ?
My wife is still working for the closing company, they are proposing to close in early march, her redundancy money is going to be used to pay the £5000, therefore approx 6weeks time, but I have noticed the variation states 28days from acceptance, do they normally allow this to be extended ?

You will need to speak to your IP about this I am sure other people have had delayed payments from redundancy before and this won't be the first time. Whilst on the phone enquire as to whether you need to continue advising of changes in situation financially prior to the completion coming through post payment of the £5000

You may well have to as the IVA is still open until you get that completion letter.

Best to be on the safe side.

The letter has just turned up today, no timescale set and no further information requested, just to forward the £5000.
I will contact my IP to tell them it will be payed as soon as my wife finishes here employment.
To be honest, while I have had a promotion already, my wife still does not have a new job, so it makes no difference to the issue.

If it makes no difference tell the IP and then you can't be done for withholding information about your circumstances. If you wasn't worried about mentioning it to the IP you wouldn't have asked the question. Better to be honest and up front rather than jeaopardise your full and final which has already been AGREED and the end is so close by

Daveyboi - hijacking this thread. Could I ask a massive favour - I love the old dancing tigger on the left but it's giving me migraine headaches! I haven't been able to read many of the threads over the last day coz of him!! If you want to keep it, that's absolutely fine but he really is a bit annoying!!!

Hi sorry about that - thread had to be hijacked due to trying to contact daveyboi regarding the flickering picture. There's no other way of contacting the poster. Unfortunately you will find that some threads do go off on a tangent but we do try to pull them back.

But glad you got some good advice on here.
