I've no idea on that one. Bear in mind that the creditors expect either the equity or the payments in lieu so that might make a difference to how much you offered.

Where would the money becoming from?

It would have to come from a legitimate source and I don't think the streets is one of those!!!

I know....I was only joking.
Have no way of raising that sort of money anytime soon.
Wishful thinking in wanting to get out of the IVA early.

Having said that --- the ..erm.. better street walkers do well enough to pay income tax on their income ( kinda makes HMRC a pimp though !).

Are we referring to "soap dodgers" here?
People who sell the Big Issue or beg because if we are then I read an article a few months back in that some earn up to £200 in readies every day!!

Believe me, they do --- mind you they register with HMRC as Exotic Dancers and the like, but there is no way a dancer would earn the sort of money they do, even of the "exotic" variety.

You have to give them some credit for paying tax in the first place, I suppose.

nepensioner, I spent a spell in HMRC in Finance Division and ended it with a year in BIO. Came across them regularly (in a professional capacity, you understand).

I imagine that the 'exotic dancers' would pay tax but your average prostitute on the street corner wouldn't.

They never used to when I was on the Vice Squad anyway!!!

True Jan, that is why I referred to them as "better" street walkers. Trying to be a little coy with the description of High Class Hooker).

Those working in clubs probably have to and probably those working as 'escorts' but I doubt the ones working in the seedy massage parlours know what a tax code is!!!!
