Well following on from my last post Varden Nuttall put through a mod for my IVA which means 30 months in its over.
My original was to pay back 52% over 5 years this included money from the house unfortunatley know one would lend to me and i already had the 12 month in place,
Over the last 2 years I have been able to pay additional funds in due to bonus's from work.
Anyway I ended up in front of the DR who advised me due to stress and strain my chances of a heart attack had greatly increased.
All this was put to my creditors and in the mod I agreed to pay 12 more monthly contributions and a small amount from family.
I didn't think it stood a chance especially when American Express voted no
Then Yesterday Morning the Insolvency exchange voted yes but I still needed Northern Rock and they voted Yes
It was through.
I have still not come down from my high
Over the years I have been one of Northern Rocks biggest critics but they voted Yes.
my total percent paid after deductions is 46%
I owe so much to the three ladies at Varden Nuttall they will always have my eternal thanks
I would also like to thank all the people who post on this site as they have also helped with there advice to others and have also managed to answer my questions without having to ask.
Can't wait till October as that is when I think it will all be paid off
No more reviews he he just straight payment

Thank you all for your kind comments but just reading a few of the latest comments really brought it all back.
The black day, then the introduction to Varden Nuttall the letters the phone calls then the creditors meeting and the thought when it was through how the hell am I going to get through the next 6 years.
Now I have 10 months max and I am debt free for the first time in 40 years other than my mortgage I am 60 next year and guess where all the extra money will go yep my mortgage.
Do i really care about my credit rating no if you can manage in an IVA you can get through anything.
As has been said many times if you can't afford it you can't have it and you get used to it.
I can only wish you all well those starting the journey it won't be easy there is not a day will go by without you thinking about it this site is a god send there are advisors I notice Melanie was on the site just after midnight they all give there advice free.
However then you reach the stage I am at I can't stop smiling, the monkey is off my back.
As I say I wish you all well good luck on the Journey no matter how hard its worth it
Great post Bill and the very best of luck for the future.
