What a fantastic topic. Chas I wish you all the best for 2012. I am hoping it will bring everyone a better year. I may be out of my Trust Deed (similar to IVA)but I can relate to all that you guys are going through. Wish I had found this forum duing my time in the TD as it would have been a fab support. Even if I sort my hassles with the bank I will still be popping on here to catch up and help if I can. Sam x
I've had a rocky few years so I've decided next year is going to be my lucky year...even if I have to work really hard at being lucky!!! First thing is to book a holiday - ABROAD - from my first ever bonus! In five years my boyfriend and I have never been able to go abroad together coz I haven't had the money.

We use to go abroad a few times a year, but haven't been since The Dobster arrived - do we miss it? Yes, I do, but we take 2 weeks off, switch off phones and spend the time walking along local beaches/country parks.
My aim next year is to take granddaughters away [:)]..money and leaving Dobby permitted!
I hope so - ivas are very hard on the non-iva partner too and it would be good for us to get away. I quite like staycations and your area sounds beautiful. Why go anywhere when it's all on your doorstep???
Hi 2012 has been the worst year ever but ended the best. I found out my hubby had been unfaithful (we are ok now) he was then diagnosed with post traumatic stress from three tours of Iraq and one of Arghanistan. On January 16th we lost our third angel, three little one all gone on the same day three years running.
But look at us now on our road to debt free and planning our future and thanks to everyone on here for their support. I hope to make some great friends on here.
Oh Alys what an awful year year you have had. I'm glad you have things sorted out with your husband and hopefully he is over his stress now.
Sorry for your loss as well.
Hopefully next year will be a much better one for you.
