Hi All,
I made my last payment on the 1st November and have contacted DFD and they have told me they will write to me to tell me to cancel my standing order...I thought they would tell me over the phone[:(]
Still no letter from DFD, but a letter from Max Recovery re part of my credit card debt from Barclaycard, it was just a statement telling me what was outstanding, nothing threatening. I've never had one of these before - does anyone know why I've had this now?
Thanks!

Hi Sam,

Don't worry about the letter - a couple of us have had them. They are obliged to send them out once a year.

You should be able to cancel your standing order by now and I would phone them again and keep pestering until they tell you/

I also started my IVA at this time and have also heard nothing, I have made one additional payment I am with DFD It clearly states in my IVA that it is over 60 months and does not say eanything about a F & F or re-mortgage but pherhapsthis is because I have a second charge on my property already and probably have absolutely no chance of re-mortgaging - Has anybody else been in this postition?

We actually have a second charge with our mortgage company plus an additional secured loan and we still have to try and remortgage.

Check to see what your paperwork says.

Dicot - contact DFD to make sure that your IVA will finish after the 60 months. That way you can rest easy and needn't make any additional payments.
