Good advice Mel, I actually did drive around on slightly dodgy tyres and thankfully Mum stepped in, it was only once I had new ones I realised how much I was compensating whilst driving and I've been in a near fatal accident, so you'd think I would know better, but sometimes having very little money skews your judgement sadly!

stay in there littlefi

in the early days I too found it very difficult some months; when i resorted to visiting the supermarket early evening to by the reduced food to freeze, or indeed for that evenings meal. I sometimes worried at what had become of me. i didnt allow myself to get down as I kept telling myself that whilst the end of the IVA was years away, I had taken control of my spiralling debts.

Currently Morrisons have some 3 for £4 cracking ready meals and indeed asda have some £2 lge pizzas & £2 large sized ready meals. My IVA co have been reasonable with my low inflation level pay rises and allowed some of it for myself, so maybe this could be the case for you over the next 2 years or so, even though it may not feel like it now.

I to had to learn how to make my money stretch to feed myself and whilst not as drastick now in year 5, ive been there and worn the tshirt, ( the same tshirt incidentally as I cant remember the last time i bought any new clothes !! ) so know what its like.

Truth is for me, whilst it was a very hard lesson, ive now learned the value of money, which when I was spending on credit cards before my IVA i had forgotten.

good luck , stick with it and it will get better, ive been where you are and know exactly how you feel. chin up it will get better, even though you may feel that it won't
