enjoy your new car,Kaykay
changing a uneconomical old car for a newer car can save money in the long run.
Less being paid out on garage bills, using less petrol.
and with was needs going on your old car you must of save over £1000 in repairs by changing now.
IVA now over with and it was worth it.
now starting my life again,

Hi
I think you have done the right thing KayKay and everyone can make their own choice post IVA.
As I've said before newer cars can be cost effective and your deal is as good as many High St bank loans.
Craigwicked1 I think you are a little harsh in your comments. True that many people with adverse credit are prone to pay very high rates but the case with KayKay seems to be one of excellent service and very reasonable rates.
Regards
Andam Davies

Happy Birthday KAYKAY! (We share the same birthday!!)

Hi Orange
The team work everyday except Sundays and may be on an early or a late shift. You can speak to any advisor and you can find any car you like as long as the car and dealer meets a criteria set by the lender. I am not sure where we are at with the 14 day time cap?

Feel free to ask any questions Orange. I will always try to help.

Thanks

David

I'm not looking for a new car at the moment but I had a look on the Car Loan 4 U website and I was wondering if David could clarify something?

I was looking at the finance calculator and I was wondering what category my credit rating would come into. I was presuming it would be bad as I've been BR, but my BR was 4 1/2 years ago, I've lived at the same address for 4 years and I've been in the same job for 10 years. I then looked at poor but that doesn't apply either!

I know you can't tell me for certain, but I'm just curious!

Don't know if this helps so will post in the hope that it will.
I was told I was approved in principle for a loan, but wouldn't know the details until I had found a car. I gave the details of the car, which was then submitted to the lender. The answer that I had been approved came back almost immediately, and I was given the repayment amount per month. Only when the agreement was e-mailed for signature did I learn the interest rate. I am sure that I would have been given the information had I asked when on the phone, but never thought to. Please note that when I submitted my application, there were no defaults on my credit reports and no IVA listed. I was also informed that I had been accepted by their prime lender.

Hi Skippy

Thank you for your question. You are better off looking at one of the credit rating companies. Use Credit Expert or Check My File, some have a free 30 day service so you can gauge where you are credit wise. The other aspect is to ensure you are on the electoral register and some lenders like to see some responsible credit use. Again do not quote me on this, you are better off applying and seeing where you get to. But find out your credit score for your own peace of mind.

Hi Orange, have you applied? if so contact your advisor and they should be able to furnish you with the details you need. If you have not applied then it is difficult to publish rates and apr due to individual circumstances. I do hope this helps?

Thanks

David

Thanks David. I've been on the electoral role for years and have got a credit card so hopefully I'm going in the right direction! At the moment my car is ok (touching wood!) but if that changes I'll be applying!
