I'm ahead of you fi - will be 47 next week. I did have a wobble earlier this year but niece and nephew tell me I'm such fun, it got me thinking positively again. If I am fun at 47 with a disability then things aren't that bad!
Looks like I am ahead of you Kazzafunk, I will be 49 next week...
I am well ahead -- 54 and a miserable old git [^]

IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
I was once walking the dogs without hubby and a woman who we see often on the walk wanted to know if I was walking them for my Dad!!!! I didn't know whether I'd been complimented, hubby had been insulted or both!!!!!!!!
It made us laugh though.

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

what a fantastic post, We have learned so much over the past 2 years and can honestly say i will never borrow again, when the iva is finally over we will be free and have learned how to save and economise so the future should be so much easier
The IVA was a massive learning curve for us and one that I am so glad we went through - not only to clear our debts, but to etch onto our brains forever the importance of budgeting and living within our means !
It's been a year now since our last IVA payment and so much has happened...we have managed to save a chunk of money and at the same time we have moved house and spent money doing it up ! We have bought a new car and paid for it ......
We now have time to enjoy life, and not keep looking over our shoulders and at the doormat every day for the white envelopes in with the latest statements !
