whos the letter from.? i think you'lle find its one of those companies trying it on and scaring you into believing something that isnt true.
contact your company for your completion certificate and inform them of the letter you have received. please dont worry x

It does seem to be the way some IP's are going. However, I would think they could only entertain a legitimate claim IF the PPI was mis-sold. If you tell them it wasn't mis-sold then there is no claim for them to pursue.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

yeah ill try that when i ring them,I would be happy for them to do it as long as i get my completion certificate and it does not come at a cost to me,but i doubt that would be the case

im sure once you complete your 5 years provided youve kept to the agreement they have to give you your completion certificate. surely they cant force this action ?

thats exactly what i thought, they was happy with what i paid, and told me to cancel the standing order and they will sort the completion certificate but never heard anything till this letter.I cant see why they would wait until 3 months after completion to try this.

We've had people post about Varden Nuttall doing this before but I can't remember what the outcome is.

Adi - did you ever take out any PPI?
