Well interview went well. They told me it was subject to credit checks and crb....so i told them about our IVA. I said is that going to be an issue for you and they said no. So im home now and just realised they never took copy of my id which they required! hmmm looks like i got my answer but i will find out officially by end of the week!x
Started IVA May 2010 - 17 months done 43 months to go to a happier debt free life - big lesson learnt!

Fingers crossed. Hopefully the forgetting the ID was a genuine error on their part!

All the best and hope it works out for you. As Foggy says possibly a genuine mistake on their part in respect of the ID. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I would ring them and advise them they forgot to take the ID they requested at the interview and offer to go back with it - at least you are showing initiative and willingness / eagerness for the role !

Just a quick update. They actually phoned me today to say i didnt get the job and it was between me and someone else but i got pipped to the post. He apologised said i did a really good interview and told me to keep an eye out for more vacancies as they would love for me to apply again! So i didnt get the job :(

Bad luck Mellymoo but possibly means that you will feel happy applying again knowing that the iva isnt going to hinder your chances of success.

How often do vacancies come up?

My friend works at the firm there are more admin jobs coming up soon, just not the right hours! Will have to keep looking around i suppose!
