If it's money you have managed to save from allowances, or someone else is paying for it then you don't need to tell them.

Yep - we've just come back from two weeks in Corfu which was paid for by us through saving and the wife's extra pay from night shifts. We didn't tell the IP - I'm sure they're not interested in it to be honest, unless it impacted the payment of the IVA!
Top notch thanks Lesley - a break away from routine! 11 days of sun, and a couple of rain or cloud, so can't complain! Shame you have to come back and face work / IVA / bills!

You can go wherever you like, especially if somebody else is funding it!!! We've managed two holidays, one to Egypt two years ago and one to Turkey last month. Both funded by family.
Next one will probably be when the IVA is finished.

2 weeks after our IVA started I had a phone call from my case worker and I had to ask her to speak up as I couldn't hear her - I was at the check in desk at Gatwick Airport (and I told her that) - only worried about it moments after! I was off to a wedding in Guernsey not really a holiday as I was home 2 days later x
