No like I said me neither at least I know now. At the end of the day I know I am lucky to have had any sort of payrise. I have taken on extra duties with job cuts etc so I have been upgraded. You can't help but feel a bit depressed about it but never mind.
I will dig my paperwork out not sure to be honest, don't get overtime or bonus so I have never thought to much about it. I did have to up my repayment at my annual review because my hours increased form part-time to full time. I had to do that to keep a job!
Thanks
I won't be getting a payrise anytime soon being public sector but I do think they're being a bit mean with you.

I had a letter from payplan on Saturday asking for an additional £212 following my payslip review, i only pay £100 a month so was quite shocked!! I did receive a pay rise this year and it was back dated from April, i also received a bonus. In the past i've only had to pay across 50% of my bonus, so knowing this i called payplan and paid my 50% in August.
When i called today to query the extra money requested i was told that all additional money should be declared and any change in circumstance - including a pay rise which i was previously told wouldn't be taken into consideration until my annual review. I was told by my case officer that this was incorrect and i must have been wrongly informed, however i'm halfway through my IVA so i don't see how i would have gotten this far if that was the case!
Any how, i questioned whether the extra payment i made in August had been taken into consideration and it hadn't. I now have to wait another two weeks while my payslips are retrieved from the archives so that they can decide what i owe them and they want to increase my monthly repayment even though my review isn't due til next year [:(]
This really isn't sounding good! I did my quarterly one last month and nothing had changed but I'm not looking forward to the next one at all.

I does sound as though things have changed regarding payrises. I was told the same thing when I received a payrise last year.
Thanks Jan I have checked my paperwork all I can find is a paragraph stating that I must advise the supervisor of any additional income and come to a satisfactory arrangement with the supervisor as to what increased amount should be paid.

When I first had a payrise I informed them and was told not to bother until the review. My payments were never upped anyway as the outgoings had gone up as well.
Could be interesting next year as hubby had a pension rise this year which we did not tell them about. He does not get pension slips unless his income varies by more than £1 a month and they have been informed of this and have said it is ok.
I wonder whether or not we will have a problem next year at the annual review.
Don't you hate it when they move the goalposts!!!!

I've kind of been expecting an increase in payments all along but have avoided it so far. My case officer has said to fill in a new budget sheet so at least i have a chance to input my increases in bills. It does make the annual review a little pointless though don't you think?
We've just had this with payplan also. We recieved a letter stating that we owed them over 400 due to not telling them of our wage increases and a little overtime of hubbys . WE contacted them Informed them that we have never let them know of our wage increases before as they get our payslips quarterly anyhow and was informed that there was no need to twll them until an annual review and was informed that the IP's were tired of not being informed of increases so therefore now on they would do it this way instead. When i worked out the figures They didnt tally with theirs!! It turned out that on their system we had never informed them of increases and never had an annual review. They still had our wages set at pre-iva!!!! Fuming!! The sleepless nights it caused. Still owed some because of the overtime but no where near as much and the payments have been kept the same beacuse of the rise in cost of living etc. Not a happy bunny at the minute with payplan. Doesnt help as I think we're on about our 7th case officer up to date
Last review was ok but I am dreading the next one!!!
I would like Nick Payne to come on and explain things here as we don't seem to be singing from the same hymn sheet as they are and nobody told us to turn the page!!!

Yes I hate it when the goalpost are moved. I shall make sure I write or email any changes as well as sending payslips so they have to reply. As I said in my initial post it took them 6 weeks to advise me and it was the seocond lot of paylips I had sent them with the increase.
Linda
I've just done my quarterly review and had no changes so I'll wait now until the next one.

Thats the worst past about it, I asked when the rules changed and was made to feel like i'd been deceiving them all along! Plus my case officer too has changed, every quarter I seem to have a new one!
Thankfully at the moment I still have the same case officer - how long that will last I don't know! My next review is due in December so I've a couple of months to go yet.

When I first started in the IVA our payments were all over the place, but then not only did they change the case officer but the company too. We went from Clearstart to DFD, I remember being so upset and worried but once I'd been in contact with DFD things settled and everything ran like clock work in the end. I think if you keep in contact with your IVA company it can certainly help, main thing is it stops you worrying.
