I'm so glad you are feeling better Frenchie - you're on the way now so you can safely ignore these people.

Cash genie stole £220.00 from my account they cleared it out and left me with nothing. The bank couldn't even stop them even though they were suspicious because they took five seperate payments starting at 10p then £1.00 then £10 twice then £100.00 twice. I have tried to reason with them but they laugh in your face, i emailed them and they took the micky out of my spelling. Now its payback time, I have been searching the net and companies house for directors details and investors detials.I have email adresses, home addresses, home telephone numbers and other businesses linked to cash genie.I have given them 24 hrs to pay back my money or i use the same tactics on them, intrusion of privacy is not a nice thing and when i release these details they will get plenty of that.Especially the owner of cash genie who is MR Peter J Tuvey if you are all interested. So watch this space if i don't recieve payment tomorrow i will bring down this corrupt organisation.
It sounds as if you had a automatic card payment debit set up (they would have asked for the card number expiry date /security code - the bank cannot stop these as it puts the power into the companies hands - are you in an IVA ? - if these automatic payments are set up - they havent stolen the money - they have done what these payment allow. the fact they have your card number - it would be assumed to gave them it freely?
You need to report the card missing /lossed to your bank ASAP -
As angry as it has made you - you need to take a step back - first thing is to cancel the card by reporting it missing directly to your bank

Surely, if Frenchie is in an IVA then Cash Genie are bound by the terms of the IVA and are not permitted to take such payments in respect of the debts incorporated in the IVA.
I would pass this to the IP immediately since Cash Genie appear to have breached the terms of the IVA.
Yes i agree - however if the poster entered the An IVA using the same account as the payday loans where paid - there nothing to stop the payday loan company to accessing the money from the account - automatic payment are NOT covered by the Bank code DD payment protection.
It may require threaten legal actions to recover any money - expensive both in time and money
