Is there any connection between NATWEST tix and HSBC?

Is there any connection between NATWEST tix and HSBC BANK. Is it normal fot NATWEST tix to vote on behalf of HSBC. I do not owe natwest any money.

Hi San,

There is no connection between Natwest and HSBC at all.

I think, and I do stand to be corrected here, that TIX may well buy up debts but they are not anything to do with Natwest in the first place.

Oh my god, according to the proposal and my case adviseR. Natwest TIX ARE REPRESENTING £1097 OF hsbc debt . NEXT TO hsbc's name on my creditors schedule meeting is £1097 and they voted and accepted.
Im now very concerned. Thanks but how sure are you of this kallis3?

TIX are a specialist debt management and support company who represent both NatWest and HSBC at creditors meetings and are responsible for collecting post-IVA dividend payments on their behalf.

It does not sound as if you have anything to be concerned about here San. What is it that is particularly bothering you?

TIX represented a few of my creditors, as did Grant Thornton and KMPG. No problems arose.

Thanks Mel - it is Robinson Way that have our HSBC debt rather than tix.

I'd put money on the fact that TiX get the dividend cheques Jan. Check with Payplan if you want to be sure - but TiX are handling all of the back-book of HSBC so far as I am aware.

Hi MEL. Im not sure why but I wasnt informed by my IP that I owe 4K less than I thought. Each creditor was contacted prior to the creditors meeting. I thought I owed over 15K . after asking loads of questions Im told i owe 11K.

I accept that tix represent both HSBC AND natwest however MEL I dnt owe natwest any money. Not sure why they ate in the proposal.

Sounds like a mistake on the Chairman's Report rather than anything more sinister. Check with your IP to be sure.

They say they are investigating. Its been two months . Im not sure what to do apart from wait.

I've nothing at all to do with Tix in mine - could it be to do with the fact that the debt was sold on before my IVA was approved?

Possibly - or maybe they have not updated their systems to reflect that TiX are receiving the money Jan.

Midland bank (old name for hsbc) did have unofficial link going back many years. Now that it's HSBC & RBS they are not linked.
