Perhaps they've just update early KAYKAY? Let's hope so.

I recently recd my credit reports from the big 3. My application was made by post giving my former name/address, my current name/address.

1) The first report came back with just my current name and address and my present bank details. Nothing else, not even the IVA. Had to resubmit an application.

2) The second one had a reference to the IVA. My current name, address and bank details correct. My previous name correct but incorrect address/default dates.

3) Personal details correct, IVA mentioned, some of the default dates are also incorrect. Also a link made to Santander Cards.

Have no connection at all to Santander apart from using their ATM to get cash.

Had to enter into correspondence with the big 3.

Who is responsible for the data held by these agencies?

Santander bought Alliance Leicester and Abbey, Abbey National and also some RBS business. Maybe one of these was a creditor?

You should write to the creditors who have defaulted you after the date of IVA acceptance and get them to remove those defaults - enclose a copy of your completion letter.

The IVA will remain on there for six years from the date of acceptance.

It's the creditors who are responsible for the data - they supply it to the CRA who just update your records.

What is the link to Santander - did it say?

After checking the credit reports from the big 3, one account is not mentioned at all but was included in the IVA.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Got my Experian report back

My IVA completion date on the certificate is May 7th...on the report Max Recovery is updated to 19/06, and reports balance satisfied, but Nat West is on updateded to 05/06, and doesn't report as balanced satisfied yet

Even though my IVA started on November 7th 2005, interestingly a couple of the default dates are in January, and one of the February 2006....not long after, but is this normal?

You need to write to them and tell them to remove the defaults although it might not be worth it now as they should drop off at the beginning of next year anyway.

Is it MAX Recovery I need to write to, or Experian?

It's the Data Controller at Max Recovery.
