If you visit this link and input GT's details it should tell you the IP's.

I'd contact them via email - one of them will now be your IP:

Thanks - but not sure if I should send my details to all of 'GT IPs' listed there?

Do you think atleast one of them will come back to me?

So far BE & GT customer service team and Junior BlairEndersby has failed to do so.

Thanks
Aran

Thanks Kallis3,

Received email from customer service (BE): they found my new IP(GT) but do not have any contact detail.

But finding contact details didn't take longer from the link you supplied.

Just emailed my IP asking for his/her availability.

Will let you all know of any progress :)

Glad things seem to be moving. Hopefully you can get something sorted now.

Thanks Knight & kallis3 ( & everyone)!

But no luck yet!!

My new IP emailed me back saying to wait for their customer service team to come back to me. I never had any chance of discussing any of my requirements directly to any of my IPs at all and am really disappointed.

CSA (their support team) has few really good members who seems listening to us and will agree on something only to be denied at later stage by rest of the team saying whoever agreed has left the company and it is no longer valid.

Not sure if I'm the only one being treated like this!!

Also received a letter requesting me to agree their new terms and conditions that will enable them to charge £250+VAT.

There are many options have been provided to agree to this new terms: online, sms, phone and provided free envelope. But I can't just speak to him.

This will help me if I miss any furture payments and not sure how relevant this will be as I finish all my terms this month.

Still GT hasn't proved that they are any better than BE.

BE still operates and looking for clients via Gumtree etc.

PLEASE AVOID BLAIR ENDERSBY AT ANY COST!!

Aran - I would keep on at them, I know with the take over from BE to GT they are suffering from a back log of work, which I know does not help you, but just keep bugging them.

I have been trying to get through by phone & the message comes on regarding their experiencing lots of calls & to either hang or ring back later, so they must be really busy.

Thanks,

Haven't heard anything back from my IP :(
One of their control manager has offered a phone call today via email but still wasn't prepared to answer any of my questions via email or in writing.

Will post any update later today/this weekend.

One question though: How much or what percentage of IVA contributions is an IP allowed to consume?

I assumed it shouldn't be more than 25% but can I go wrong?

Thanks
Aran

Hi Aran
I think your IP costs would be whatever is in your proposal and would have been agreed by creditors way back at the beginning. I know creditors can be tough when IP fees seem high so am sure this will be a realistic amount, whichever company you are with...

HI Aran, Im still having no luck at getting through either at the moment. So just keep trying either by phone or by email.

IP fees do vary & will be in your proposal & set out in the beginning. I do know that Creditors have been hammering the fees down in recent years for IVAs to be accepted, which has no impact on the client, but the IPs & their firms have been affected. this may of been why BE decided to cease in the business.

Hi everyone,

Spoke to one manager from GT and they agreed:

- I do not need to pay another month extra (as being nagged by BE).
- I have got £14 of shortage on my contributions for some reason though all 60 payments being made.
- I have to agree Clause 8.0 that enable GT to take £250+VAT for additional meeting.
- I do not need to release any from my property provided differnce between valuation and mortgage statment is less that £5000.
- Will take upto this December to complete everything (final month was June just passed)
- GT will get Completion certifcate
- Unflag my property (was put on by BE to stop selling)
- Notify all credit reference agencies of completion of IVA.

Many thanks
Aaran

Hi everyone,

Just an update:

GT promised me during July that all would be settled and closed within 6 months max, that is before end of December.

Now GT demand another additional payment of £302, claiming short fall on my contributions. And they need another 6 months after I make that payment.

I have to go back to them with full break down of my payments to show them there wasn't any short fall at all. I now wait to hear from them.

This seems like GT needs one full year to close this. I am not happy at all.

Never had a chance to speak to my supervisor during all this hard time of 60 months + 6 months. He supposed to assist me as I'm paying for this 'service'(?)

Will update as soon as I hear from them.

Thanks for all your support
Aran

Hi Aran & welcome back to the forum,

I'm sorry to hear of your difficulties & can only imagine how frustrated to are. We now have a representative from GT on the forum called Karol, I'm hoping she will pick this up.

Regarding the extra due to a shortfall they are asking you to pay, you could ask for a total break down of payments made to date to check yourself. As for them needing a further 6 months to conclude the IVA does seem extreme. I would ask for a breakdown n check them over, have u kept records, bank statements etc to check them against them?
