Hello all,

Not posted for a while, but here's an update.

The final stage is upon us, with 5 payments left to go.....thank god.

Our IVA was with Blair Endersby but has now been transfered to Grant Thornton like many others on this site. And like many others I have been reading, I too am having very little contact with GT.

They have sent some correspondence i.e "Hello we're GT and have taken over your IVA" and "Please accept our revised T&C with respect of your IVA" which we duelly did.

But as with many we are not getting replies to our e-mails, I have sent three in the last week with "Read receipt" attached, but not even getting that!

I know they are busy, and from what I have read, a good reputable company, but this is not really what I expected.

Hopefully through the wonders of this site someone from GT will get back to me soon as I have a number of q's for them.

Still counting the months now, It is due to finish in November, just in time for Christmas (oops, sorry for swearing)

Blair / GT actually post on the forum, so hopefully they will pick up your query quite quickly now.

BE post and you can always try sending an email to the address shown in their details - it certainly can't hurt.

GT don't actually post on here otherwise.

That is what I thought, mainly the reason I posted in the first place.

Lets hope they do pick up soon.

Cheers!!

It eventually got a reply to my email, it took them 2 weeks to answer, and the email didn't actually tell me much as I had already received my wageslips back, but it did show they do eventually answer them. Hold in there they will answer eventually.

Hi Andy (welcome to the club!!)

It is really shocking how dirty this business has became to some IPs.

Longer we pay more money they make. And still don't take any responsiblity and deal with their client directly at least once for a change!!!

I was chased by BlairEndersby (BE), and they actually missold their product. I never had even a single chance to speak to my IP (who they promised would take personal care of my arrangement).

My IP changed many times, but one in common, no one was willing to discuss anything directly nor they signed on any letters.

GT seems like dealing with final year clients. Possibly BE makes more money by selling off final year clients?

I am on 60th month and finishing (hope?) my arrangements in this week. GT custimer services pointed out my new IP and failed to provide direct contact details.

However I found them from GT website and emailed him only to hear to wait from their customer services.

Do not sign any more documents for BE or GT just let one of them to talk to you.

You are paying them and 25% of your contribution ends up for this level of service.

Hope things get better for you - and congratulation!!

Arun

Thanks Arun,

Finally got to speak to customer services at GT after they tried to email me. For some reason their email didn't reach my inbox, so i sent them a test one which they received and replied back to that one. Bizarre!!!

Anyway, they managed to answer my questions....just, but there appears to be an extra payment towards the end. They kept saying last payment was December when in fact it is Nov. I have the paperwork from BE to prove it, in fact BE sent it to me twice. So i'm not really worried, will cancel Direct Debit and let them try and do the chasing. When they do I will send them a copy if required and then that should be it, IVA over and debt free!!!!!!!!!!!
