What a relief - got our proposal today. Michael got things moving for me as I was stressing a bit. Lower dividend than I anticipated but still higher than BR so hopefully creditors will consider it seriously. Now I can relax over the weekend and get the paperwork returned next week knowing we are getting to the serious bit!!

Phew what a relief! Give it a good read, there's a lot in there and worth reading properly.

Our dividend was quite a bit lower than I thought but I'm also hoping that they'll take it seriously given that's the best offer on the table, so fingers crossed for you too.

Not long now, once that paperwork is back you'll get your meeting date.

GOOD LUCK!

Yes my stomach churned a few times when I saw it all in black and white. But it states quite a few times that we have no assets and bankruptcy would give a smaller return then all our creditors have a choice and I know what I would go for out of the 2 options if I wanted as much back as possible

Hi kazza, this is when I found it hit home. Comparing the IVA to BR % for creditors return. If they can see it's a good & your best offer then no reason to refuse. Good luck hopefully by July you will have started the long road of an IVA.
The road is 72months long starting September 2010.

Sorry Kazza - just catching up.

Dont worry about the lower dividend, your proposal would not be in your hands if your IP did not feel it would be accepted.
I think it really does help to have a good read & ensure you understand everything. Enjoy your weekend & if your happy sign & post it on Tuesday first thing x
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X
