Not good kazzy! Still, you've not long to go now.

Be interesting to see mine at the end of the month as I haven't a clue what I'm supposed to get, these things just go straight over my head, I should take more interest. x

We have both just been paid and after taking into account my annual salary increment and change in tax code we are about £80 better off but then we have lost child tax credit, rent, council tax and water rates have gone up plus fuel costs etc which has all but swallowed up the rise.
The biggest and most worrying change for us at the moment is having our grandchildren staying with us following our daughters recent brain haemorrhage as I am seriously having to consider giving up my job to help care for them.

Like everyone our surplus will most likely be swallowed up by rising costs, we have oil fired central heating which is draining our finances!!

Julie that must be awful for you, I wish your daughter the best for her recovery. Speak to your IP re advice for caring for your grandchildren.

Hi Julie - I hope the family's doing well! Please speak to your IP! I hate to think of you struggling with money when everything else is so much more important...a speedy recovery for your daughter, happy grandchildren and you not wearing yourself into the ground with worries!! xx
