A bit of a surprise in the post this morning. Finally my CofC has arrived! I really thought the last payment would be the best feeling of all, but i think this is better. Its really all over.

No more proving what I earn and spend (well except to the student loans company once a year lol) [:D]

Thanks. Really i forgot all about it after I gave them my new address in January. I guess I now need to just keep an eye on my credit file for the debts to show as paid.

It might be a good thing to send a letter and a copy of your completion certificate to each of your creditors and the three credit ref agencies and ask them to Mark your record as satisfied and your balances should all be at zero as well. Any default dates on your records after the start date of your IVA should also be change to prior .... This way at the 6th anniversary it will all drop off and you will have a complete clean slate ! Enjoy the new life !

It does seem like a pain to have to get the creditors to remove/correct the details. I would have thought that for the amount they charge the IVA agent should do it..
Anyway i guess ill just copy the certificate and run off a few letters to the various creditors, just in case. Is there any advise on here about this process (addresses etc)?

You need to write to the data controllers at all of your creditors to get them to remove it.

Unfortunately the IP companies just don't have the time to do it.
