Have now been given my creditors meeting date for the 5th May. Has anyone else used payplan for an IVA?

Really nervous already.

Hi all the best for the 5th May, welcome to the forum and some of our posters are with Payplan without a problem.

Nerves are a natural part of the process, try and relax as I'm sure the best offer to your creditors is on the table. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Welcome to the forum!!

Quite a few of the posters use Payplan, and one of their staff also post on the forum.

Good luck for your creditors meeting, it won't be long and I am sure that your IP has made sure your proposal is acceptable.

I'm with Payplan and had no problems so far. The 5th is a good day as well as it's my daughters birthday!

You'll be fine - post on here for support at anytime, someone is usually around!

This is the hard bit now Kevin, you have done everything you can and have to sit and wait, keep the faith with your IP, they would not have done all this work without the expectation of success.

I was approved on 24th March with payplan and believe me I know what you mean when you say your nervous already, Like I say we were approved, no amendments whatsoever and 100% creditors voted yes, so all I can say is Payplan got it right for us.

Good luck for the 5th but I'm sure you won't need it.x

I'm halfway thru my IVA this month. Egg and Natwest were two of my creditors. Natwest were fine. Egg was a little more tough but agreed to my plan with only a tiny additional ask. Once the meeting is over the relief is immense... suddenly your life is your own again. 5 yrs feels like a long time but it's got to be better than struggling on trying to make ends meet and keeping the creditors at bay. Downhill from here for me!!

Natwest were one of our creditors and were ok with our proposal. Once you get that phone call saying your IVA is approved you will feel so relieved and be able to get your life back on track.

Jan - my daughter will be 17 on the 5th and my son 23 on the 4th May.
