Hi Happy,

Don't worry, your IP would not be putting your proposal forward if they didn't think it would be approved.

What date is it?

Hello and welcome aboard.

The usual mantra -- which is quite true -- is that your IP wouldn't be running with it if they didn't think it had a good chance of acceptance.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Hi all, have so much set back n problems the whole thing took me almost 3 mths but now finally got the date but am scared. I have been reading this site every now and again to give myself hope. I just hope it come sooner, waiting is torture. I know I have to have positive thinking to get positive result but I can't at the moment. My debts problems been going on for too long I dun believe anything good will happen to me anymore. I do believe in my IP team n they are great.
I know from now the creditors can start voting n start rejecting, will my IP tell me or wait til the date? What are the reason my creditors can reject my proposal? Can they postpone my meeting to give them more time to decide? I m still getting lots of calls n also a debt collection letter which is worrying me.
Congrats to u Susie...

don't panic....it really wouldn't be at this stage if your IP didn't think it was possible. Keep posting on the forum and we will offer you the reassurrances that you need.

Good luck !

Hi Happy,

Don't worry, these feelings are normal.

Your IP won't tell you if you are successful until after the time for the meeting. However, if they knew in advance that there were going to be problems they would tell you.

There are all sorts of reasons why creditors reject or postpone. If they postpone then it is usually for two weeks but I'm sure that isn't going to happen. It is rare for us to read on here about a rejection and I can't remember the last time it happened.

You will get the letters but just pass them on to your IP.

Fingers crossed for you for next week!

Good luck Happy88. Mine was accepted on Tuesday. I know exactly how you are feeling, we have all been there and know what you are going through. Mine was a low dividend, which really made me worry. But 100% voted in favour, kinda makes you think why was i so worried. Like everyone else says, your IP would not be putting it forward if they did not think it would get accepted. Chin up, and best of luck for next week. x x x x

OK...I won't go on about the best offer being on the table or try to reassure you about the hugely high acceptance rate.

Everybody feels the same and if we were all right, there wouldn't be thousands of us journeying through our our IVAs on this forum.

And if I can get accepted anyone can! x

It seems to have been a while now - as those that have been an issue have had suitable modifications made and then accepted! I think creditors have finally admitted something is better than nothing !
