Hi all, am just new to the forum and hoping for some support and advice please? Been in my IVA for 2 and a half years of 6, all ok. Just now selling my property to relocate and will only come out with a small amount of equity. Ive been told it will all have to go into the IVA, but I need money for moving and deposits etc. I have submitted a proposal to my IP hoping my creditors will let me keep some or all of the money. Is this likely?
You should be able to keep sufficient money back to pay all of your fees and deposits. How on earth do they expect you to pay for it otherwise?
Which company are you with?

When we sold our house in the IVA we were given sufficient money to allow us to relocate and pay any up front rental fees that were required - speak to your IP and hopefully they will resolve the issue for you.

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !
hey all and thanks for the advice. I have my IVA with Blair Endersby. They have been good overall, however my last account manager (who has now left) gave me completely the wrong information and then found myself having to almost beg for some funds from the sale??!! I have never spoken to my IP directly...didn't know I could as it's never been suggested. I don't feel on my own now, just worried that I do the right thing. They are saying it may take up to 10 weeks to get an answer and this will hold up my property sale...
Let us know how you get on Clare, hope you can get it sorted.
