Thanks again, will give Angela a ring tomorrow. Just waiting for selfemployed accounts for 2010/11 to be finalized by accountant so we know income & tax liabilaty & hopefully things should stsrt to move on.
You've already started the ball rolling...just think back to how you were feeling about yur debts a couple of weeks ago and think how far you've come. Once you get the accounts back things will pick up pace and you'll have your IVA before you know it! x
Hope you get sorted spook - you've got a good company with Mel, let us know how you get on.

thanks Jan, just rub salt in as they say had a letter from barclaycard stating that my standard intrest rate has been increased from 14.9% to 19.9% with imediate affect. Is this normal?
Don't worry - this will all be sorted with your IVA. Just let the IP know about this letter.

Well for a start they have to give 60 days notice for increase in interest rate. Which you could refuse( since your going the iVA route - no problems)
Perhaps when Barclaycard pick this up - they could explain why they are NOT following the agreed recent guidelines - with regard period notice of interest increases.!!!!!
