Sammi. That must be devastating news and I am amazed and awed at how you are handling it. I sincerely wish you well with the time you have left.

So sorry to hear of this Sammi-makes you put your own life into perspective and realise that money and debts arent that important in the whole scheme of things.
I do hope you have closure of your iva as quickly as possible-cant see anyone being heartless enough to make you carry on.
Your time is now too precious to be worrying about such things so heres to a speedy conclusion so you can get on with being with your loved ones.
God bless you and yours-my heart goes out to you and your family xxxx

Hi Sammy, sorry to hear of your diagnosis it must be such a shock for you and your family. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November and have been off work for the past three months as having chemotherapy etc. Like you I have been worried about how my debts are to paid if I can't pay. The kind people on this site encouraged me to contact my IP and with the help of Declan from DFD (Who speeded up the process for me)His team have prepared a proposal for a variation, asking the creditors to accept the payments Ive paid so far as full and final settlement. This will mean if agreed they will only receive 25p in the pound. The meeting is tomorrow morning so please can everyone send me positive thoughts. I will let you know the outcome. You too must act now and use the experts on here to help you with advice etc.
As suggested by others I have accessed the support available from macmillan and can recommend the support they offer.
I wish you well and hope you can get your IVA completed promptly so you can feel free to make the most of each day with your loved ones.
Take care, love CXXX
Let us know how you get on and keep in touch even if only to share how you are feeling
