Hi all,Hope you are all well.

I have completed my iva in april through a full and final, i received my certificate of copletion in October, but today i have receieved a letter regarding a sum of arrears from one of my creditors.

When does these accounts get closed down as satisfied if ever? or are they allways open?

Should i reply as the letter says i do not if i am in arrangement , but to be honest i would have thought the account would of been closed down when DFD sent out final dividend and c of c.

Your thoughts and advice are very welcome

Regards

Rob

Hi Rob
It can happen, receiving demands after an IVA has completed, however this debt is no longer valid and you just need to send the creditor a copy of your certificate and details of your IP and IVA.
You have nothing to worry about
