Nobody I know is aware of the register, and that's the way I intend it to stay.

I'm nosey, but not until I knew about the register. Nobody I know has any idea about it as far as I am aware.

Lesley you do make me laugh, but I tend to agree, my name came off it within days of receiving my completition cert, and no-one knew at the time, but like I said its nothing to be ashamed of and its not forever.

I am nosey and don't mind admitting it, my problem is I forget everything soon after I've read it! I always look at enrolment forms at work as for some reason they fascinate me....I really do need to get out more...FACT x

I never look at the register now. I know of nobody who is likely to be in financial difficultes and unless they tell me then I wouldn't dream of looking for anyone.

The fact that just anyone can access this disgusts me!

It should be something that those who need to access it have to register first.

It is wrong, and Andy started a petition to get it restricted last year but it didn't get anywhere unfortunately.

Andy - any chance we can start another petition with a different government?

Andy is on holiday so we may have to wait until he is back to sort this.

Don't forget that some of the members are not genuine ones, you only have to check to see which ones have been locked out.

How many members have actually been locked out Jan? I thought these incidences were few and far between?

A fair few Mel, but there should be enough genuine ones to be able to present another petition.

Let's hope that Andy can get another petition going.

Hello all I also have been off site my IVA finished afyter 5 hard years in May 2010 I have certificate so checked register and guess hwta I am still on there I'm sorry but I think its shocking that they can easily put you on. They have no idea how important it is to complete and it was really important to see my name gone.
On the slow safe road to success. Personal thanks to Melanie Giles Kallis Skippy Elv5 and all the other wonderful forum friends.
