are they regarded as one creditor or 2? also over 25% of my debt is with halifax, are they a difficult company when proposing an iva?

I think they are two seperate creditors and Halifax are ok I think. They were one of my creditors and I had no problems.

Kallis is correct - this is treated as two separate creditors, and they will vote accordingly.

Hi Stevo,
I had both HBOS and Lloyds debt and they were treated as seperate creditors. HBOS had around 45% of the debt and voted in favour, no phone calls off them for either CC OD or loan once they knew I was proposing an IVA and were great really. LLoyds never turned up to vote and still ring now and again asking for money, idiots!! That was my experience anyway.
