Little frustrated to be honest, when I applied for an IVA i wanted us to do it together, he was adamant that he had his debts under control and this was not the route to go down. Anyways to cut a long story short, apparently not, had pay day loans that I didnt know about plus a debt that has come to bite him in the botton before we met which I wasnt aware of. We finally had a long chat when things got a little bit too much and I pursuaded him to call Mels office, he got his pack through today. So now going through all the motions of preparing his IVA application. I am with Mel myself so I know he is in good hands so I guess better late than never. On the bright side, we will both be debt free in 5 years god willing.

Glad he is getting sorted. I know how hard it is to admit that you have problems. At least it's all out in the open now.

It's really no problem - at least he tried to make it work and now realises for himself that he cannot do it without help. We are very glad to have you both on board, and I know you will be a tremendous support to each other.

It's the hardest thing ever and more so for some individuals to admit they've a problem, he's getting help now from the best in the business in my opinion and wish him all the best. xx
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I wish him all the best as well. I know how hard it is to admit to a problem. I kept it all from hubby for months before it all came crashing down around my ears.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes, we both feel so much better now the decision is made, he seems happier today, started to gather paperwork, without his support when I was going through my IVA process I dont know how I would have coped, he dealt with all the calls originally until I felt brave enough to talk to them myself, it now time for us look forward to his acceptance hopefully. This site is an absolute godsend. Thank you

I'm sure it will all go ok. You can now answer his calls for him!
