got my first default notice and it was really really scary !! I have told various people various times at santander what is going on but nobody seems to take any notice [:(][:(]
What do I do now ?????
Hi scaredycat, I love your butterflies! Default notices are quite normal. Just send them to your ip. You are protected in the Iva so don't let them get to you.
I had enough to paper my lounge before my approval.

Hi scaredycat, that's the worst time. Some of my creditors followed up the monthly default letters with almost daily "this is your last chance" phone calls but it had no impact on the way they voted and that's all that matters. They dry up after the iva is accepted. Do you have date set for the creditors meeting?
Hi Scaredykat,I personally didnt answer any phone calls or reply to any letters.I just sent everyone one letter explaining what was going on with the IVA application when advised to do so by my IP.
Non correspondence befor or after that.
Dont know if that is good advice? But my IVA was accepted last Thursday.
Still getting letters and post but still ignoring it hoping it will eventually go away???
The good thing is that you know you are covered now.

Hi DMB, they stop after a couple of weeks so just keep sending them to your ip. These organisations are huge and basically the left hand doesn't know the right hand has accepted your iva yet. I work for a bank and see every day how disjointed it all is.

I know from reading on here things can change very quickly but i am not going to worry myself to an early grave.I have messed up and now i have faced up to it.
