DFD have said an offer of around £3k could be put forward but I just don't think I can raise the extra £1000 from the offer of £2k that a family friend offered does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Declan, Thanks for the reply you did actually pick up on this on Friday for me and one of your team rang and spoke to me and then followed up with me this morning. On Friday I didn't have the option of any lump sum so a potential payment break was suggested to me this morning, when I offered the potential £2k they said this was perhaps on the low side and if £3k could be raised they thought this would be more acceptable am just trying to see if I can get the £3k as I really would like to avoid the payment break if possible as am already at 72 months.
