Why cant car insurers just offer you their cheapest quote right away, rather than send you a renewal, you find it cheaper elsewhere, you then phone up your current insurer and lo and behold they can price match it. I'd have told them to poke off and gone elsewhere,IVA or not!!!

That happened to me last year - phoned to say I no longer want to continue with them as I have a cheaper quote n matched it straight away!
Dont know how its going to work out for me this year - no claims ever! (touch wood) but gotta change a couple of things.

Lesley - I dont blame you either!
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

Try LV my husband has his car insurance with them and we also have our house and contents. Because we have two separate insurances we got a discount worked out alot cheaper than all the others they apparently link them together and you can pay them monthly - over 9 months as apposed to 12 feels like we are getting 3 months for nothing give them ago real easy to deal with too you can get a quote on internet or phone extremely helopful when you speak to them
