I would still recommend them having had no problems at all. They have never ignored me.

I'm also with Payplan and having second thoughts. Can you change your IP part way through as I'm not sure if they will be of much help to me when I get to year 4? I kept emailing them about equity release and then I had an email that said clearly I was dissatisfied with the service given and they were doing an internal investigation - since then not heard from my usual supervisor, and they have now said that following their investigation they were satisfied that they had acted in my best interest!
I am going to email them tomorrow to say that I disagree with this but feel as though they just think I'm being a nuisance for going on about it.
Also didn't know they had moved offices - surely we should have been advised?
It is very difficult and expensive to change supervisor during an IVA so you may try and sort your problems with Payplan rather than seeking a new IP. If you haven't already you could email your IP directly with your complaints and request a face to face meeting to resolve them. This is usually the best way of addressing issues rather than endless phonecalls, emails or letters.
If you are not getting the best service from the staff attempt to discuss this with the IP directly - they may not be aware that there are problems lower down the hierachy and would welcome the opportunity to put things right.
I have had no trouble with Payplan but from my point of view the less I hear from them the better, I send my slips in each quarter then they tell me what I owe! but I guess my IVA is pretty uncomplicated in that I have no equity etc.. did have a problem with my last review but in the end I just updated it on Justabank, eventually they sent me a letter informing me that my monthly payment would stay the same[:)]
I guess some posters have been unlucky with their case officers? I guess it can happen with big companies what with staff turnover, case officer changes etc. but it is no excuse really.
Originally when my IVA commenced, Payplan where excellent, they phoned when they said and documents arrived promptly etc.
They were great when my father passed away and any problems I had where sorted to my satisfaction and would (actually did) recommend them to anyone
Then about 11 months ago things took a turn for the worse, first of all there was the hooharr with not allowing me join a PAYE scheme in work for a tenner a month even thou it wasn't gonna affect my I&E at all, then I had my annual review and received someone else's wageslips in the post, then a couple of months later I had a phone call in work (which was annoying as I requested not to call me in work and by email only) asking if everything was ok and would I like a car insurance quote, my car insurance wasn't due for a few months yet so they took down my date and said that they would be in touch nearer the time, my car insurance date came and went but no contact, now with the messing on my latest annual review I really do feel like they are now just providing 'a service' without the 'personal touch' that was once there.
Having 5 different case officers ( so far) is not helpful in my opinion, there was one occasion late last yr where my shift pattern had changed so my income had dropped, Long story cut short....I ended up explaining to my case officer my previous problems with Black Horse and that I had been voluntarily paying extra into my agreement so they could drop my IVA payments down back to the original monthly amount without the need for a creditors meeting ( on the advice received on this great forum).... which they did.
The fact that I had to explain all this to them is down my case officer at the time not knowing my history with them and I have noticed a difference from case office to case officer, some stick to the book and some use common sense and its this difference that I feel has been letting them down recently.
I now await my review to arrive in the post and I will send it back signed with copies of my wagesheets/P60 etc and hopefully I wont receive someone else's wagesheets
I've never had to sign anything for my annual review. They have phoned me back both times to tell me that the payment will remain the same and then followed it up with a letter.

I have always received a copy of my annual review with the I&E etc which I have to sign and return with my last 3 wage sheets and P60, my payments haven't changed over the past 3 yrs.
I have to send payslips in quarterly and I've never yet sent in a P60!
Then again my payslips do have a running total of my wages on them.

Yeh, my pay sheets also have a running total amount on them, pension/tax paid/earnings etc but I only have to send them in once a year, reckon thats why the P60 is required.
If the running total is on there though, can't see why they would want a P60.

During my IVA with Payplan all they asked for at yearly reviews were 3 months bank statements, nothing else and my payments never changed also I received a letter a few weeks later confirming this, it all ran as smooth as clockwork for me I couldnt ask for a better service I still am very impressed with them.
