It should continue ok with GT. As long as you are making your payments, you shouldn't have a problem.

I would certainly make the payment you have missed. It won't go in your favour if you don't.

I took 3 months payment break with Wilson Phillips and agreed that the payments would be made at the end of IVA, extending it by 3 months, I wasn't charged for this.
Melanie, just wanted to say thanks for providing the contact at GT, I was emailed yesterday by an assistant manager and informed that they were looking into my case and would provide me with a response by close of business today (Wed) which is great, unfortunately, however, I did not receive a response from them and therefore am still waiting. Hopefully GT will reply to me soon. But thanks for setting the ball rolling

Just to provide an update to this thread as promised, I received an email from one of the managers at GT last night apologising for their error. Following a review of our case they have confirmed that there are no arrears on our iva account. Their review team have re-issued the annual report to ourselves and the creditors to reflect this situation. I am pleased that I have had this error rectified, but what concerns me is how many other such errors have been made that has not been challenged ?
Thanks to melanie for her involvement and providing me with a contact at GT!!
GT have taken over an enormous amount of cases from firms who were struggling to run them properly. As a profession we have seen our fee income cut by approximately 30% over the last couple of years - which is bound to have had some effect on some companies who may have been carrying high overhead - indeed it has affected all of us to some degree and most companies would struggle as a result.
Whilst it is unfortunate that one or two errors may have been made, I can assure anyone whose IVA has been transferred to this firm that they are probably in a better place and the at the variations being proposed are designed to protect the longevity of your cases - and should be supported.
I have said before that if I ever needed to propose my own IVA - sometimes think I need to when my own M&S card statement arrives each month! - then GT would be my first choice - so do bear with the odd error, you will be well looked after in the long run.
Excellent news, and glad Mel was able to help you.

Further update on this.....got a call from one of the managers at GT last night, she was extremely helpful and has undertaken to look into this further on my behalf.
It would appear that as my IVA was approved in 2007 I was not able to take advantage of a change in the law in 2008 which enabled up to 3 payments to be deffered and added to the end of the agreement, at least thats what I think she was saying, does anyone know what this relates to?
Also, it would appear that there was a variation meeting held to reduce my payments be £200 pm in January last year and modifications were agreed by creditors but Wilson Phillips failed to include the 1 month payment break in this an enable an additional payment to be tacked on the end.
