have been in a joint iva since oct 09 unfortunity me and my hubby have spilt and he has moved out. What will happen with our iva as we are happy to carry the joint situation with the iva and would they let us lease a second car as we both will need one
If you can continue making the payments as they are, and are happy to do so, then continue. You do need to let your IP know about the change in circumstances.
As to the car, this is also something you need to sort out with your IP.
Are you both going to be able to maintain the payments if your ex is going to have to fund his own accommodation?

we are currently paying £370 for iva, accomodation is going to cost about £400 and to lease would be about £260. We reckon that we will continue to be able to afford it because me and the children (4) have appled for extra tax credits etc so my income will increase
If you can maintain the IVA payments at the current level then there is no reason for the IVA to fail - so arrange for a chat with your IP to let them know about your change of circumstnaces and to take advice about what to do moving forward.
