Ang, I'm so sorry. I can understand how worried you must be.

I'm sure Mel will sort something for you.

Thinking of you all.

I just feel sick, Jan!! I work for HMRC so bankruptcy isn't an option for me!! Just hope things pick up and only have to maybe miss a payment or 2..
We're always so careful, and haven't missed anything for emergencies we've just coped and now things are out of my control I feel vulnerable, and as if things are slipping away

I can imagine that you do feel sick. Bankruptcy wouldn't be an option for me either due to my job and the equity in the house so that is something that worries me also.

You're on a par with me time wise and I would love us to complete at the same time.

A payment break does seem the sensible option at the moment.

Hi
I am sure that Melanie will agree a way forward with you angela18, many IVAs run ito trouble at some point so IPs and creditors are quite used to this.
Good luck and hang in there

Hi Ang I'm with Melanie and have had mine and your share of payment breaks due to one thing and another, Melanie is very fair and will find a way forward, if you miss a couple of payments like I have you can either tag them on the end or as I prefer to pay a nominal bit extra to chiop away at those arrears.

Big hugs to you xx
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I dont know if theres a maximum time limit for a break but given that you have made 22 payments, and have the best of IP's I am sure that something can get sorted out.

Before I started using this site I thought we were the only family that had disasters, but its nice knowing others have had similar problems and get through things, which I am sure you will Ang.
