At what point do the creditors calls stop??? If ever??? My phone rings constantly at the moment - i have answered the odd calls - some have been quite blunt insisting i pay something and if i dont they will just keep phoning me, others have been very understanding but still continue to call.
Most stop before approval, some after and some take a while for the systems to be updated. Regardless, once your IVA is approved you are under the full protection of the law and the calls will be a nuisance but nothing more.

Good luck Molly, will have everything crossed for you.
Our IVA's were approved on 30th December and all but two companies are still calling my hubby. Barclaycard and MBNA call once a day each - regardless of what we say to them, we have advised them that both our IVA's have been approved and that we have signed the documentation and that they should be recieving the same very shortly, we give them our IP name and telephone number etc but they still call everyday - we don't know what to do, the only reason we are not stressed out is because we know they can't really do anything now. Just have to be patient and wait until it filters through to the collections departments of these companies.
Good luck for Thursday Starting Again- hope everything goes ok for you. And Simbel - congratulations on yours being approved - what a great start to the new year. xxxx
Good luck Molly and starting again. I'm sure you will be fine.
Simbel, the calls are a pain. You could have a word with your IP to ask them to speak to the creditors.
Alternatively, refuse to confirm your security details as they cannot continue with the call.
Personally, I would be getting to the stage where I was less than polite!

Good to hear things are moving nicely for you Molly, I was wondering how things were going for you. I'll be sure to keep everything crossed on the 20th for you and make sure you let us all know how it goes. I'm due to receive my draft proposal in the post any day now, so hopefully I'm not lagging too far behind you.
Hi Diddy, Once you've signed your proposal everything moves really quickly - i got the creditors meeting date within a couple of days of them receiving my signed proposal back.
good luck and keep in touch
