Perhaps Declan could pick this up then and look into why their staff are giving out such advice?

Sounds like a simple case of crossed wire between Insolvency Register and Credit File to me. You will be off the Register but your defaults will still show for the full 6 years, so a little misunderstanding seems to be the most logical explanation to me.

I also think it is probably a mistake. You will be removed from the register as soon as you have completed the IVA.

Perhaps they nmisunderstood what you meant jc?

I was removed from the Insolvency Register within 24 hours of them receiving notification from my IP. I spoke to them prior to this to confirm and they told me they have a target of 24 hours for removal.
IVA Completed! :-)

Julie, hubby will stay on the insolvency register for 3 months from the date of his discharge.

Make sure you print off the page that shows he is discharged as many companies will accept that as proof - much better than paying the court £60!

Thanks Skippy, thats a great help.

It does already state on there he's been discharged so everything is on track.

I'll be using your template letters to update credit files too. Thanks for all your help xx

Thanks Jan [;)]

It really does seem like a turning point now...the light at the end of the tunnel is within reach if you know what I mean. I certainly know we wouldn't have got through this without all of your help. Best thing I ever done was find this forum!
