I know one or two other posters have used that one before and it seems to work.

It will hopefully get them off your back at work anyway!

That must be so frustrating for you, I hope you don't have to wait too much longer. It's so annoying when the companies can't do something simple isn't it?

Well it's like the telephone exchange here now, oh well at least we had a couple of quiet weeks. House phone is unplugged and mobile on silent.

Also had a text from Barclaycard lettng me know that as I have now missed 2 payments my credit rating has now been damaged. I did feel a bit sad for my credit rating for a minute, but hey, my credit rating doesn't really need me and I don't need it just now. I'll say hi to it in 6 years (hopefully)!

Cath exactly....who needs a great credit rating....after all we all had one once and look where it got us.

Anyway onward and upward for you as I'm sure your proposal wont be much further away.

Good luck.

Exactly Cath - you're not going to need your credit rating for a while now, so no need to worry about it!

Great way to view the credit rating, still not looked at mine but must get around to it, never looked pre-IVA either.

I used to keep an eye on my credit report all the time, especially after having had a couple of cards cloned and stuff delivered to the house which I hadn't ordered.

As there is no way that is going to happen now, then I just check up on it once a year with the Free Annual Credit Report.

Cath, why dont you change your home phone number and set your mobile to reject the call from that number, it wont even ring. I put up with calls every 2 hours for one weekend only and that was it, phone was uplugged and number changed 2 days later, peace & quiet ever since!

it is so frustrating when creditors ring your works halifax did it to me a few times.when i rang them regarding token payments pre iva i told them any more phone calls to my work, then no more token payments.that done the trick.phoning you at work can be considered as harassment so i hit them with that aswell.

Luckily I never gave any creditors my work phone number as due to not being able to take calls it was never possible. It must be really frustrating all these calls and especially to the workplace. Hopefully things will be looking up soon.
