Great news Pog. I have to disagree with Size5 about being a bit early. As someone once said 'If I can't have one at eleven, I will have to have eleven at one.

Congatulations pog!! A fresh start, must be a nice feeling!

I have a question for you if you don't mind. You mention you have no equity in your property, did you still have a clause in your iva proposal for equity release after 4/5 years? I am in a similar situation but not at the proposal stage yet.

Hi Simon.....we are currently in £25,000 negative equity but yes we do have the clause that in 4yrs 6 months time we will have the house valued and aim to release equity....
Gosh.....life is so much easier!

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

BTW: regarding drinkies,, an American friend used to say to us if it was a bit early for a drink,, " Well its got to be Noon somewhere"

We use it,, LOL. (but only in modereation)
