Hi MP and welcome to the forum, I wish you all the best for tomorrow and hopefully your first weekend without the worry of debt on your mind. It seems Northern rock are really really awful with people even though they are trying to pay something back!
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

That's too bad MP.

I hope it is a positive outcome for you next week. Everything crossed. If anyone can do it, Mel and her team can.

There are a lot of posts on the forum at the moment giving out details of progress to date and efforts being made by mine and other teams working on live cases.

Whilst it must be very frustrating to not have a defined answer on the day of the creditors meeting - when you have all worked so hard to get to that stage in the first place - we have to also respect the workloads of the banks who at the moment are dealing with a significant number of new IVA proposals and an alarmingly growing number of variations - commonly as a result of expenditures not being properly set in the first place.

We just need to exercise a little patience as the outcome of these issues unfolds, and be in a position to deal with creditor queries as they actually arise.

Good point Melanie, it's very hard to think of the bank / creditors workload when you have worried so long over your personal debt issue. We forget IP's must get as frustrated as individuals - guess its a case of patience being a virtue.

Really hoping for a positive result for you Mike [;)]

IPs spend a goodly part of their time being frustrated by creditors Julie - and this week has been no exception in my firm!!!

Melanie's firm don't do DMP's Deb.

Is there any reason you can't do an IVA?

Jan is correct Debs, we prefer to concentrate on the provision of formal insolvency solutions - personal and corporate.
