You will get a completion certificate from your IP, I think it's within 3 months.

Your IVA will be on your record for the full six years, but as long as you have things like a mortgage account, bank account, mobile phone account on there, it will help build up your record. Request a copy of your records from the three agencies, Call Credit, Equifax and Experian.

If any of your creditors have defaulted you after the date of the IVA, then you can write to them and ask them to remove the defaults.

However, I wouldn't worry about it just yet. Just savour the feeling of being debt free!

Congratulations Gill and glad it is finally over. You can now relax and just let B&E sort out the paperwork.

I'm glad I cheered you up!

Everything will be fine, but I don't blame you for wanting to check everything, I'd be the same x

Can anyone give me a little further advice. I heard on 16th June that my FFS had been accepted again, and not had any paperwork yet from BE, or call from my account manager, who I have never spoken too before, is this usual?

Have you paid the money across yet Gill? If so, I would think that then next thing you would get would be your completion certificate.

If not, then I would give your IP a ring tomorrow and ask them what is going on.

That is great news, you seem to have had an incredibly long journey with this one!
