Hi, I'm 16 months in to my IVA - and I've not paid an awful lot of attention to what has been going on; the direct debit comes out of my account each month, and I thought all was going swimmingly.

However, I came on this site to check out the situation with a creditors variation meeting and I noticed there is a lot of mention of annual reviews. I haven't had one of these - are they always part of IVAs after every year, or can they be less regular?

I'm just worried that I might have missed something - but I know I haven't received anything from my IP.

Surely you have been asked to update your income and expenditure and to confirm whether you have received any windfalls during the year? And surely you have received a copy of your annual report from your IP? Which firm are you with?

Hi Melanie

No, I have not been asked to complete anything from my IP - infact, following my request to have a creditors variation meeting, I had not received anything from them since shortly after the IVA began.

I am with O'Hara & Co.

I'm starting to get concerned that something is not right.........

I would give them a ring to find out what is happening. They are legally obliged to send you a copy of your annual report within two months of the anniversary date.

Thanks Melanie - I contacted them and they are sending me one out - I have found this with my IP - they don't seem to include me in the mailing lists!

Anyone would think I'm nothing to do with my IVA! :-p

I have had 2 reviews inside 11 months, and have just received my annual report. Not a lot in it and certainly not a lot gone to creditors(none in fact). This would have concerned me had I not been a fully read up member of the forum. As it is I have just filed the report away in my little box of papers(rather large metal tin actually). Roll on Jan 2012!!!!
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

Hubby's creditors have received a little from his payments, mine received none this year.

Are they not distributing your money on a quarterly basis Jan? Seems a little odd.

My annual report (the first one) stated that no money had been paid to the creditors, but I did get mine shortly after the review in February so I presume that is why nothing had gone across.

Hubby's arrived today and he has paid just over £300 across to his. This is two months after our IVA anniversary (why the difference in timescales in sending out the reports I don't know) so perhaps that's why he's paid some and I haven't.

Hi
I am still waiting for my annual review anniversary 24 April - though they asked us to sign a I&E in February which was exactly the same as the one on the proposal - even though we had a review in December (requested early November). So I phoned them up 2 question it and was told the original figures would of been used & to make amendments on the form.
So I did a fresh I&E spreadsheet with it (as no room to fit changes on the form they sent with cover letter & still I have heard nothing.
They also sent us a 11 month wage slip review & said all payments are upto date on the overtime 50% clause thing.
So after getting a little fed up I have just sent in another I&E spreadsheet & cover letter & proof of Expenditure going up (due to house move) & Income remaining the same.
It is getting quite frustrating as in december they told me my payments would have to go up & I paid the difference there & then. Then heard nothing & payments stayed the same. Patiently waited & then phoned them up to be told we have decided your payments are going to stay the same & when my husband earns over 1300 is when we have to pay over the 50%. I have wrote to them & asked them to send this in writing now on two occasions. Though the letter I sent in february gave them details of when we where changing address phone numbers etc - when I phoned them in March to make sure they had changed it - they had not. Making me question if they take any note of what I put in writing to them - I keep copies my self by the way.
So just patiently waiting again!
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X
