excellent news, a relly big well done to you and the cleardebt team. We are all getting some great advice from the all of the experts that post on the forum which I know helps each and everyone of us keep relatively sane leading up to the creditors meeting. I say relatively as I am not sure if I have ever been sane.

You will probably get phone calls for the next couple of weeks until the news filtered through to all departments but just keep smiling and say your IVA was approved - I enjoyed saying that

Brilliant news Em x x The worries of whether you met the criteria and were you paying enough must seem miles away. It's amazing that you really can turn things around in such a short space of time.

There are so many of us just at the outset and I'm sure if we all stay friends we will soon see it through and help each other along the way.

Any mods or no votes?

I believe all the mods were nothing to do with me. I believe my Virgin Credit Card said no, but the others voted yes so they were carried with it.

The Virgin reps have obviously not listened to Richard Branson recently- when he said that in these times people in financial difficulty should be fairly treated!

Excellent cleardebt must have put a good case for you and I hope you are comfortable with your allowances.
It seems most creditors are accepting now, however, David, Andy Davie and I all had Amex say no.
If I were you sparklywater I would never by a CD off them again.. plus I have never liked Virgin Coke [:)]

Virgin sold thier music store to Zavy (think it was actually a management buy out)who subsequently went into receivership. Me gets the impression that if Richard Branson is selling something then it is obviously not returning a profit. If virgin airlines come up for sale then give it a wide berth.
