I have been totally screwed by the CCCS in doing a dro. I told them one of my debt amounts was £655 the have inputted £90 as soon as I saw trhe mistake I contacted the IP but was told it had already gone through and nothing they can do.
I have been trying to contact CCCS for the last few days to see what they will do about THEIR mistake and keep being told we are busy try again later.

surely there must be more checks on what you owe than just your word. I hope you get this sorted hun, its stressful enough without having to chase b***** silly mistakes
Back to square one but what dunt kill you makes you stronger!!
Hello there maybe an expert on here that has a contact within CCCS or at the very least an e-mail address. This is not good did you have site of the proposal before it was agreeded??
On the slow safe road to success. Personal thanks to Melanie Giles Kallis Skippy Elv5 and all the other wonderful forum friends.
I actually do not feel that this is a major problem - unless of course this takes your debts over £15,000 and you become therefore ineligible for a DRO. The matter will be picked up by the Official Receiver and dealt with, with no recourse to yourself.
To say that they have screwed you over is a little harsh - we all make the occasional mistake and I doubt this will have any effect on you at all. Are you sure it was the IP you spoke to at CCCS?
I have spoken to the offical recievers and they have told me the amount cannot be changed.
If I could get in contact with CCCS maybe I wouldnt be so angry but have been trying to ring them since saturday and keep getting a message saying they are busy and to c/b later so havent been able to speak to anyone. I have also sent emails but these have not been answered.
No, it doesnt mean you will be liable for the difference, all debts will be discharged after the one year moratorium assuming your cirumstances don't change.
Have just spoken tot eh lovely Miriam who can remember I told her the different amount and is going to contact the OR herself.
Having read back my topic is was a little dramatic was just panicking over the £568 difference.
The CCCS have been amazing to me and I couldn't recommend them enough everyone does make mistakes i think as I couldnt get through to them you start thinking the worst case scenario lol.
I'm glad you're getting things sorted out Joanna. I hope your DRO goes through ok.
Let us know as we'll be interested to see how you get on.

Thats the problem it has already gone through with the wrong amount miriam said the right amount but forgot to change it. Have spoken to CCCS again who have advised me a I could be liable for the difference, which is not making me too happy as they have admitted it was their mistake. Willhave to wait till monday now to see what will happen
In that time creditors named on the order cannot take any action to recover their money without permission from the court.
I can't see it will be a problem for you as long as they have been named on the order. Its irrelevant what the amount is as there are no claims or dividends!
It raises questions about creditors not named - which don't seem to to be bound as they are in IVAs.
More research required...
