Have just thought of 2 questions to ask, firstly has anyone heard of Eurodept. They have approached us today offering an IVA, but not sure whether they are ok or not. I looked on IVA.com and couldn't find them[?]
Second question, we recently brought a car on HP and its probably worth about £8000,would we be allowed to keep this in an IVA? We bought a "nicer" car because my partner does about 50 mile round trip everyday to work and the old one was limping!
Not heard of them before, but looking at their website it only mentions DMP', not IVA's so I imagine they would 'introduce' you to an IP and probably charge you for it.
Personally, I would not deal with a company which had cold called me. Use one of the company's on iva.com, you will be much better off and you need to make sure that you are comfortable with who you use. Ring round one or two.
As to your car, that should be ok. You would have to keep up the payments on it, then when they have finished that money will go across to your IVA.

I would not have thought that a car worth £8,000 would cause too many problems in an IVA - so long as you can justify the need of course, which you seem to have done.
Looking at their website again, it does mention IVA's and does say no upfront fees, however it says that if you decide on BR or DMP you will be charged (doesn't say how much though!)
Stick with the good firms on here - you won't go far wrong.

Eurodebt are a very very expensive DMP company and don't do IVA's but refer them to other IP's in return for a referral fee!
